CURRIE, Minn. — John and Kristin Hansen of Currie, Minn., announce the engagement of their daughter Amy Christine Hansen to Peter Jacob Olson, both of St. Cloud. Peter is the son of Jack and Julie Olson of Owatonna.
Amy is a 1999 graduate of Tracy High School, 2004 graduate of St. Cloud State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and a 2006 graduate with a master’s degree in school counseling. She is currently employed with Albany Junior and Senior High School in Albany, Minn. as a school counselor.
Peter is a 2003 graduate of Owatonna High School and attended colleges in Moorhead, Iowa, and St. Cloud University. He is currently employed with Subaru in St. Cloud in sales and special financing.
An Aug. 8 wedding is planned in Currie.
