OWATONNA — The ACE (Accepting the Challenge of Excellence) program recognizes high school students who have had to overcome obstacles and are now eligible for high school graduation.
The Owatonna Exchange club honored Brandon Wacker and Brook Lange as students of the month for October. Brandon Wacker grew up in LeCenter and later moved to Faribault and is currently a student at The Recovery School of Southern MN. He plans to attend college to major in English and later wants to become a writer.
Brooke Lange has lived in Kasson/Mantorville her entire life and is attending the Recovery School of Southern MN. She has two brothers and two sisters. She will be graduating in June 2010 and plans to become a veterinarian or a chemical dependency counselor.
