Thamert — Holmstadt

OWATONNA — Katie Thamert and Steven Holmstadt, both of Duluth, were united in marriage Oct. 10, 2009, at St. Joseph Parish. The Rev. Edward McGrath officiated the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Richard and Mary Thamert of Owatonna. The groom is the son of Kenneth and Gertrude Holmstadt of Plum City, Wis.
Amy Provo of Clarksville, Tenn., was matron of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Maurita McKay of Mankato, Emily Thamert of Owatonna, and Gretchen Hughes of Owatonna.
Jacob Snell of Duluth was best man. Groomsmen were John Holmstadt, brother of the groom, of Blaine, Jeremy Holmstadt, brother of the groom, of Madison, Wis., and Allan Holmstadt of Circle Pines.
Flowergirl was Lauren Thamert of Owatonna.
Ringbearer was Harvey Holmstadt of Brooklyn Park.
Ushers were Nate Hove of Mankato and Matt Thamert of Owatonna.
The couple will reside in Duluth.
