Dolores C. Tumbleson
1935 — 2009


HALSTEAD, Kan. — Dolores C. Tumbleson, 74, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 5, 1935, in Steele County to Norbert George and Christine Ann (Ryshavy) Langr. A Halstead resident since 2001 she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Altar Society, and participated in the mentoring program at Bentley Primary School. On June 17, 1975, she married William J. Tumbleson at Mankato.
She is survived by her husband Willilam, daughter Moriah Tumbleson-Shaw of Medford, Mass.; brothers Francis Langr of Owatonna, Bernard Langr of Mankato, Donald Langr of Mason City, Iowa; sister Margaret Knish of Morristown.
She was preceded in death by brothers Edmund and Gerry Langr.
Mass of Christian burial was held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Halstead, with Father Steve Baxter presiding. Burial followed at Halstead Cemetery, Halstead, Kan. Memorials may be given to Bentley Primary School Mentoring in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, Kan.
