MORRISTOWN — Jacqueline “Jackie” (LaCanne) Melchert, 45, of Morristown died Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at her home.
Jacqueline Marie LaCanne, the daughter of David Sr. and Margaret (Gekeler) LaCanne, was born July 26, 1964, in New Prague. She graduated from Morristown High School. She married Craig Melchert on Oct. 17, 1987, at the St. Canice Catholic Church in Kilkenny.
She is survived by her husband, Craig of Morristown; children, Cherea Melchert of Waterville, Cara Melchert of Mankato, and Chad Melchert of Mankato; father, David LaCanne Sr. of Morristown; sisters, Brenda LaCanne of Morristown and Christine (Dale) Melchert of Morristown; brother, David LaCanne Jr. of Morristown.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret LaCanne.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in North Morristown, with the Rev. Gregg Pavelski, officiating. Burial will be at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault and for one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
