Thank you to everyone for your support, encouragement and assistance during our recent campaign and election.
We are very grateful for everyone who rallied in support of our message. We appreciate everyone who allowed us to put signs in their yards and were touched by those who called and asked for signs. We appreciate everyone who handed out brochures for us and took the time to talk to their friends, family and co-workers in support of us. A huge thank you to those of you who called and said, “We voted for you. We think you would do a great job.” I cannot describe how much those words were appreciated.
Also thank you to those of you who attended Koffee with Kurt. I appreciated your questions, comments and suggestions. It was great to meet everyone and have the opportunity to hear your concerns first hand. A special thank you to Jim and Vickie Huber and Sandra McConn-Halla for your assistance that day, as well as throughout the campaign.
The whole process of campaigning was a great experience, one that I have grown from. While I enjoyed all aspects of it, the most amazing part was meeting so many of the citizens of Owatonna and having the opportunity to converse with you. I was truly excited to be your voice in our local government.
