RCHS to hold Fall Banquet Thursday

FARIBAULT — The Rice County Historical Society’s 2009 Fall Banquet/Annual Meeting will be held Thursday, Oct. 22, in Faribault at the Elks Lodge. The banquet will begin with social hour horsdourves provided by the Faribault Dairy Company at 5 p.m., dinner being catered by Nerstrand Meats at 6 p.m., and at 7 p.m. our keynote speaker; Jeff Jirik, Company Founder and Co-Owner and Cheese Maker will be speaking on “The History of the Faribault Dairy Company: Making Amablu.”
Please join us for this eventful evening, seating is limited, however, a few tickets are available at this time. Please reserve a ticket by Friday, Oct. 16. Tickets for this event are $18 for RCHS and Chapter members and $20 for non-members and can be purchased at the Rice County Historical Society, 1814 NW Second Avenue, Faribault, MN 55021, (507) 332-2121, or from any of our board members.
