George J. Tuma

KILKENNY, Minn. — George J. Tuma, 75, of Kilkenny and formally of Lonsdale, passed away Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009. George was a loving Husband and Father and a very kind man. He was a devoted member of Immaculate Conception Church in Lonsdale and a life long farmer in the Lonsdale area.
He is preceded in death by daughter Charlotte; brothers Francis and Emil.
Survived by wife Rose Marie; children: JoAnn Tuma, Barbara (Jason) Kane, Anthony, Paul and Andrew Tuma; step-granddaughter Lexi Kane; other loving relatives and friends.
Mass of christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lonsdale. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the White Funeral Home in Lonsdale and from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Lonsdale. Military honors provided by the Lonsdale American Legion.
