1957 — 2009
Dennis (Dettmann) Saari, 51, of St. Paul died Tuesday, Jan. 27 at Our Lady of Good Council Hospice in St. Paul.
He was born June 14, 1957 in Cando, N.D. to Ed Saari and Faye (George) Dettmann. He married Debbie Cricks in St. Paul. He was a personal care attendant and sub-contractor in construction Faribault State Hospital. Dennis was a very warm, loving  giving person. He loved to make others laugh. He loved to watch sports with family  friends. He was a wonderful father, husband  brother to his family. He will be greatly loved  missed by all whose lives he touched.
He is survived by his wife  Debra Cricks; son, Brian Saari; daughters, Sara Cricks, Kari Saari, Kelly Saari; brothers, Robert Dettmann, Ron Dettmann, Randy Dettmann, Roger Dettmann; sisters, Rebecca Quaintance, Roberta Vesely; five grandchildren; family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave., St. Paul. The Rev. Pat Moe will officiate the service.A luncheon will follow the service at the funeral home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Memorials preferred to Maplewood Cancer Center, MOHPA, 1580 Beam Ave., Maplewood, MN 55109.
