Jeff Warner’s Ultimate Strength
MEDFORD — Although changing schools can be difficult, when Anna Pettet decided to do so, she may have had the odds against her.
Pettet, who is deaf, decided to pursue a Christian education at El Shaddai School in Owatonna, changing schools from the Minnesota State Deaf School in Faribault. However, since Pettet will be attending a private school, a sign language interpreter must be paid for by her family, a cost estimated at nearly $17,000.
