SeniorPlace has Lefse for sale and more “Just a little Lefse, goes a long way….” We’ve started selling Lefse for $7.50 for a half dozen and a full dozen is $15. It is available ‘for sale’ from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. This is a first come, first serve no orders will be taken. Special thanks to the dedicated volunteers working on this project.

Depression to be topic at SeniorPlace monthly meeting On Thursday, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m. the South Central Human Relations will be speaking on the ‘many faces’ of depression in the senior population and how to handle seasonal depression during the holidays. This program is in collaboration with SeniorPlace and Healthy Seniors of Steele County. Those who have the last names starting with E, F, and G and H are asked to bring a snack to pass.

Benefit breakfast at VFW a success Wow. What a great day on Sunday with the terrific volunteers and the wonderful VFW volunteers. We served 656 people. Thanks to everyone who purchased a ticket and enjoyed the delicious breakfast. It was so good to see so many friends and families enjoying their Sunday with us.

Senior Center hosts program for families with elders FARIBAULT — The Faribault Senior Center will host a probram for families with elders entitled “Holiday Visits - Caring Conversations: Tips for Identifying Needs and Planning Ahead with Family Elders” at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, at the Faribault Area Senior Center.

VFW to hold benefit breakfast Sunday for SeniorPlace This is a great fundraiser for SeniorPlace, Inc. and all purchase of tickets ahead of time is very much appreciated.
